Deadlines, ARGGH
http://wonderopolis.org/wonder/why-are-they-called-deadlines
- It was first used during the civil war for the prisoners that couldn't cross. then journalists used it for the meaning it is now, a time or date which something should be done with.
- For this class if you don't complete something it goes in as a missing and brings down your grade. you can fix your grade but the more work you miss the more it gathers up.
- there are some class assignments that I forget to turn in or don't complete. some classes still let you turn it in for a 100 but others take 10 points for every day its late.
- Last six weeks i did miss deadlines on a regular basis but i tried to get my work done this six weeks. I believe i was unfocused and didn't have my priorities straight.
- I was just really distracted.
- Stay motivated to getting it done and try to keep distractions away.

- probably the to do list because i always forget things i need to do. also the dedicate study time because i always check my phone here and there and get sidetracked and don't finish the things i need to.
- Budgeting my time, i have a really awkward schedule and can't really plan something a week ahead just because i'm not sure i'll even be home at that time.
- night person. I'm not really not sure if i have a "study time", i mean sometimes when its late at night i want to do something productive but i cant stay up every night to study or ill lose sleep.
- i can try and set a time everyday to just sit down and put my phone away to do my work.
- Put my phone out of reaching distance, tell anyone in the house that i'm busy.
- Yes because you have to plan how long it will take you to do your homework do you'll know when to start.
- quiet or music playing in the background.
- my phone and other people like my mom or sister.
- put my phone out of reaching distance and tell my mom and sister that i have to get things done before i do anything else.
