final exam preview activity
- if you want to lengthen or shorten a clip you have to drag the edge make it shorter or longer. if you want the clip to split in half you go to where you want it to split and click modify and then split it. to edit the clip more specifically you hold down on the edge until it expands and you can see it more detailed. click the button that looks like a music note to add some sound. you have a choice of your own music or the default imovie sounds and music.
- i could already trim, add, split and delete the clips.
- i learned how to put your own music from your itunes.
- im worried i might not have enough video footage and have to make the pictures last longer.
- im gonna follow my sister around and show you how she keeps herself entertained.
- ill have my mom help me out with her.
sports profolio
- josh birnbaum
- the stories was mainly the focus
- they listed the rule of the photo, who and, what was in the photo
- the judges liked how there was more that one topic in the photo.
- Alyssa schukar
- again the story was the main focus
- one thing that stood out is when some pictures fitted and some did not and the lighting in the background
- The judges noticed how not only did they focus on peoples stories but also the sports stories.
- Melissa golden
- activities(sports) was what they focused on
- the pictures were black and white and almost always had a sport going on.
- the judges enjoyed that they did black and white and continuously went with it.
- I like how it was taken at the right moment and how it was designed so id have to agree with the judges.
- i think the photo is more sports than people so there isnt really a point of them piling up so i dont agree with the baseball pics.

student of the month
Who -Tyler is student of the month
What -student of the month
Where - James bowie high school
When - 2 days ago
Why -how good she did in school
How -elected and was voted
2 days ago Monday morning 16 year old Tyler Vice-Holguin was voted as student of the month. She received a slip from the office and the principle told her the great news and congratulated her. The principle sent her to the photography class 3 days later so they could interview her and get a picture for the year book.
Through out the year Tyler worked hard to earn this title. she still lived her life and hung out with her family and friends but she always made her schoolwork a big priority. "Tyler is a very hard working and generous young lady. shes always on top of everything and tries her best. She is always helping the kids who don't understand the material or need a little help with it." Mrs brooks shared with us.
We emailed her parents asking for their thoughts and this was their response.
' We are so proud of Tyler we see how hard she works we can only imagine how she does in school. she is very good at managing her time and getting what she needs to done first. the first thing she does wen she gets home is finish her homework and then she has the rest of the night to do what she wants. '

my opinion story
There has been videos going around YouTube about conspiracy theories. Now there are a bunch of theories but the most popular one is the Mandela effect. Its when a big number of people have a memory of something but when you look back at it, it never happened. Basically the Mandela effect is based around Nelson Mandela and how everyone thought he died while he was in prison in the 80's but was later announced he died in 2013. Now there is a book called English alive published October 1 1995 where it states that nelson died July 23 1991.
One of the theories on why this is happening is that we believe that someone went back in time and changed a minor thing making a bunch of little things change now. In reference to the butterfly effect where Ashton Kutcher went back in time and dropped a pencil and when he went back to the future there were things that were different.
A few of the examples are the Bernstein bears. Its a children's book with a family of bears. A lot of people remember the book being spelled B-E-R-N-S-T-E-I-N bears but if you look at the books or shows its spelled and pronounced Bernstain bears. A bunch of people were saying how its stein not stain. one guy went through his books and found one that had steins. people said it was a glitch in the universe and stuff like that. another example is star wars. Everyone knows the line ''Luke i am your father." its one of the main main lines from the movie. its on t-shirts, posters, its even on other TV shows and movies. If you go back and look at the star wars movie the line is "i am the father." it doesn't even say his name. last example I'm gonna explain is one of queens songs. a lot of us are familiar with the song "we are the champions". Everyone who knows the song remembers the lyrics being "no time or losers,'cause we are the champions...of the world." but nope. there is no 'of the world' it just ends at champion.
A bunch of people could be referring back to the parallel universe or the time traveling theory because they don't understand how million of people can remember something being one way and it be totally different. There are a bunch more examples like the kitkat, chic fil a, monopoly man, or sex in the city.
personally i think the time traveling make the most sense because years ago we thought wed have time traveling by now so i believe we will have time travel in the future. If we do have time travel then that means They are able to go back to now and even before.

Newspaper Design
- My favorite newspaper front page is The Ithaca Journal from New York.
- My favorite headline is "lakes claim 10 snowmobilers in mild northeast" just because its in large font and has a faded brown color.
- 3 stories
- The stories are usually in the same small font.
- The titles are totally different fonts and sizes, someone font pages have a picture with their stories and some don't.
Website review
Photojojo ♥'s Tumblr
- To help her viewers with updates and advice.
- They do little suggestions on each post and updates on different things and places.
- They can get ideas of where to take their pictures and have some ideas of what to take pictures of.
- I could, if i stumbled across this website not intentionally looking for it i probably wouldn't add it.
- Of course it depends what the person is looking for if they are looking for cute aesthetic ideas and places i would recommend this.

welcome back!
I like this photo because its a clear photo of and eagle. Its a beautiful bird so it looks nice up close. |
I like this photo because it sows a lot about them and how they are with each other. |
I didn't exactly like this picture but it did capture my attention. The hurt child shows the violence in the world. |
Im stuck with Moana and Zootopia being the best movies. throughout the year i really liked zootopia and watched it about 10 times but I recently watch Moana and fell in love with it. the zootopia plot is funny and keeps you watching but Moana was sweet and kept me interested and made me feel for her.
2016 was a big bang, there were shootings and a bunch of devastating events left and right but i think the event that and a big impact on us was donald trump winning president. there were a lot of people who hated his guts and a bunch who loved him. him winning left a lot of people scared, there are people still looking into it claiming the vote was hacked.
I think Hilary had a big impact on 2016 along with trump. Their feud was childish but if Hilary had one she would have been the first woman president .
for the last few moths I've been into basketball. my dad has been helping me practice and been teaching me some basic things. my dads favorite team is the lakers and his favorite player use to be Kobe.
- Over the break i didn't really go anywhere extraordinary I hung out with my mom side and then went to my dads, i was with him most of the break so i got to hang out with my cousins and have fun over there.
- my resolutions include not to procrastinate, focus, and put my phone down.
- theres not really anything i'm looking forward to i just see it as any other day so we'll see as i go along.
